Blogging from missionary school

We’ve been taking in the joys, sorrows and details of candidate seminar for a few days now. Although the days are long, 8 am to 8 pm, usually, and we are getting a lot of information, it’s been awesome. Missions, specifically to Spain and specifically with ABWE is exactly right for us. And, in spite of all the things that make us “not” qualified, all the experts here – people with numerous Bible degrees, years of preaching and true servant hearts – seem to agree! We have a lot to accomplish before we can go, but this is no surprise and we have a great God who not only cares for us, knows everything and gives us strength, but literally goes before us. So we, echoing one of our teachers this week, fear not.

We have a new goal, in light of yesterday’s glorious achievement in the world of fútbol: get to Spain before a new World Cup champion is crowned.

Thanks again for coming along on the journey!

    Hi there, Rosie and Chris!

Love hearing about your time back there at Canidate Seminar…and how God is confirming His desire to have you both in His work that’s going on in Spain – how awesome is that!!!! And, knowing that He is going before you every step of the way really is a perfect moment-by-moment confirmation! Nothing is as exciting as following in your Father’s footsteps! Our love and prayers continue to be with you both and for God’s work that He is preparing you to do – Love and in His great grace, Sally and Doug
